8.3.1 Hydraulic braking system
The hydraulic braking system consists of a series
of pipes, of a special quick coupling and of two
hydraulic cylinders which operate the braking
strains.
Before connecting the hydraulic braking system
make sure it is compatible with that of the tractor
in use, the characteristics of the braking available
for DIAVEL 630 and DIAVEL 630 CUT
are the
following:
Pmin = 18 bar
Pmax = 100 bar
Where minP is the minimum pressure for the
activation of the braking cylinders and maxP
is the maximal braking pressure.
The hydraulic braking system to function
properly should not contain air inside it,
therefore, before the first start of the machine
and before putting the machine on the road
the system must be liberated from the air
inside again after the first 10 hours of
operation. To do this you must:

Connect the braking system to a suitable
tractor.

Get containers, do not spill oil.

Remove the caps located on the brake
cylinders (fig. 47).

Wait until from the caps holes no more air
gets out but only hydraulic oil.

Screw in the caps and check that there are no
oil leaks.

ATTENTION
The hydraulic brake system must be
connected to tractors predisposed to this type
of brake. It must not under any circumstances
be connected directly to the hydraulic valves
of the tractor.
CAUTION
It is necessary to periodically check the
hydraulic braking system are, in case of oil
leakage, contact a service center to repair it.
In case you want to connect the roundbaler with
hydraulic braking system to a tractor without a
hydraulic trailer brake connection, you can use a
special valve (optional) to be connected to the
hydraulic distributor of the tractor.
8.3.2 Pneumatic braking system
The pneumatic braking system consists of:
19) One or two quick couplings for connection to
the tractor.
20) A pair of filters
21) A release valve brakes
22) A proportional distributor for activation of the
brakes.
23) An air tank
24) A pair of brake cylinders
