terminal to be installed in the cab of the tractor via
a hitch suction cup. In this way the terminal can
be easily set in an area clearly visible by the
operator while working.
WARNING
Before circulate on the road, it is compulsory
to connect the lighting system of the baler to
the lighting system of the tractor via the 7-pin
plug. You should periodically check the bulbs
and, if not working, replace them.
CAUTION
Do not mount unsuitable fuses, do not modify
cables and don’t replace plugs and sockets
with others different from the originals.
5.3 USE INSTRUCTIONS
The machine is designed to do the following:

Harvesting of material in swaths

Pressing bales in round shape

Bales binding

Rear ejection
The harvesting is done by the pick-up, this
device can collect material from windrows
ranging from 1.2 to 2 mt wide. It
’s equipped
with 4 rows of 28 fingers each. The fingers
can fit completely inside the pick-up in case
of impact with the ground.
The movement of the fingers of the pick-up takes
place through a cam that enables to collect
the forage in swath at the best.
The harvesting must leave the smallest quantity
of material possible on the ground. Likewise
the forage must be of good quality and
therefore must not contain traces of soil.
To achieve these results the collector (pick-up)
can be adjusted in height depending on the
soil type and material.
CAUTION
Soil and processing waste lead to a rapid
deterioration of the crop, often cause of mold
and rots making it unusable.
The conveying of the material within the bale
chamber takes place through the side cochleas
and the rotor.
Two large cochleas restrict the flow of the material
by the width of the collector to the one of the
chamber. The rotor brings the material inside the
chamber giving the material a first pressing.
If necessary, the harvested product can be cut
(cut version).
When the round baler is equipped with a cutting
device, it consists essentially of a rotor and 15
cutting knives.
The cutting device provides the regular transfer of
the product to the bale chamber, increases the
density of the bale and improves the quality of
silage.
Thanks to the control valve placed on the
tractor and to the terminal, you can select the
following cutting modes:

Cut: all 15 knives are activated, cut length is
approx. 7 cm.

No cut: knives remain deactivated.

By removing part of the knives you can get
different cutting lengths.
All 15 cutting knives are equipped with an
hydraulic protection that allows all the knives to
fold back as a result of impact with foreign bodies
(eg.: stones or branches). The protection comes
into operation automatically when the pick-up
lower down.
Inside the chamber, the rollers start the rotation of
the forage, forming a bale and making the
pressing.
The density of the bale is adjusted by the
pressure of the hydraulic cylinders of the rear
door.
Once reached the pressure set, the control
system automatically starts the binding.
The bale is ejected by opening the rear door with
an hydraulic control, with no need to disengage
the PTO.
CAUTION
Before starting to operate with the machine,
make sure that the rear door and the covers
are closed and correctly secured.
The terminal must be installed inside the cab
of the tractor, clearly visible and easy to be
reached by the operator.
