5) Tighten the nuts of the drawbar with a
torque wrench, according to the torque
values specified in paragraph 2.1.3.
6) Loosen the two screws of the eye to be
able to move it (Fig. 13, A).
7) Bring the eye in a horizontal position,
loosening the locknut (Fig. 13, B) and
acting on the adjusting screw (Fig. 13, C).

Fix the adjusting screw with lock nut, tighten the
screws of the eye with a torque wrench, according
to the torque values specified in paragraph 2.1.3.
As the draw bar is set in an high or low position in
comparison to the PTO of the tractor, the PTO
shaft will be in a different position in comparison
to the draw bar. For this reason it is necessary to
adjust the PTO support in such a way that it is
possible to use it when un-hooking the PTO of the
tractor.
The PTO support can be configurated simply
unscrewing the screw which connects the draw
bar and resetting it in one of the position of the
figure here below.

The PTO has to lean on the support only during
parking
and after the tractor has been
disconnected from the round baler. While working
and while the PTO is connected to the tractor, the
support has to remain close to the draw bar and it
hasn’t be in contact with the PTO shaft.
5.2.2. Hooking to the tractor
DANGER
The hooking of the machine to the tractor is an
operation that can be dangerous.
Be very careful in carrying out the whole operation
following the instructions written in this manual.
To properly hook the round baler to the tractor,
observe the following instructions:

Be sure to use a tractor with a towing
capacity suitable to the weight of the baler
(see 1.7 - Technical Data)

Be sure to use a tractor with a suitable hook
to the draw bar of the round baler (see 1.7 -
Technical Data)

If the tractor has a rotating towing link hook,
it is necessary to verify the possibility to fix it
or, in alternative, to mount on the machine a
fixed towing link (optional).
