CAUTION
Before going back to work with the round
baler make sure to re-open the ball valve of
the rear door
5.4.4 Drop bottom
In the event of a flooding, you can unlock the
power supply using the drop bottom.
To lower the drawer and release the collection
unit is sufficient:

To stop the P.T.O. of the tractor.

To press the F1 key on the terminal: in the
“C” area the Fig. 32 will appear: the drop
bottom icon.

Press the Enter key to activate the control: in
t
he “C” area of the fig. 32 the icon of drop
bottom activation will appear

Through the distributor connected to the
pick-up, control the descent for all the time
the drop bottom enabling icon is there. When
the drawer will begin to drop, in the
“B” area
this icon will appear:
IMPORTANT : continue to maintain the distributor
lever in the lowering position of the pick-up even
after the drop bottom icon has appeared and till
there is the drop bottom enabling icon. When it
disappears, immediately release the control of the
pick-up, otherwise the drop bottom will begin to
close.

Restart the PTO and wait until the collection
unit is free.

If this is not enough, try to restart again the
PTO or follow the instructions of paragraph
5.3.1

Once the collection unit is free, the rotor and
the other organs restart to run normally and
the material is conveyed into the round baler

To return the drop bottom to the working
position, WITHOUT pressing any key on the
terminal, keep the operating PTO and
command the lowering of the pick-up till the
drop bottom icon disappear
( ).

The opening of the drop bottom may also
cause the deactivation of the cut. If
necessary, restore the cutting knives in
position by following the instructions in
paragraph 5.8.2.

At this point it is possible to restart the work.
5.4.5 Cutting device (CUT version)
The round baler DIAVEL 630 CUT allows to use,
when required, the cutting device.
To activate the cutting device:

Press the F1 key twice: in the "C" area of
Fig. 32 the icon knife will appear.

Press the Enter key to activate the control: in
the "C" area of Figure 32 the enabling knives
icon will appear

Through the distributor connected to the pick-
up, start the raising of the pick-up; the knives
will move in the cutting position and in the "B"
area the following icon will appear:

Press Esc or Enter to exit the control of
knives.
