putting the operator in danger. Replace the
pipes in case they are worn out or damaged.
The hydraulic system works with ENI
MULTITECH 15W40.
Description of the hydraulic controls
Using the hydraulic distributors and the terminal
you can carry out all the working operations
of the round baler.
When the controls of the terminal are not in use
the distributors carry out the following
functions:

Rear door distributor (blue caps): controlling
the distributor in one direction the rear door
opens, controlling it in the opposite direction
the rear door closes.

Pick-up distributor
– drop floor – knives
(yellow and red caps): controlling the
distributor in one direction, the pick-up moves
upwards. Controlling the distributor in the
opposite direction, the pick-up moves down,
the drop floor recovers any clearance and the
knives are taken to the working pressure.
Through the controls of the terminal the
distributors can carry out the following additional
functions:

Pick-up distributor (yellow and red caps): it is
used to lower the anti clogging drop floor.

Pick-up distributor (yellow and red caps): it is
used to start the cutting knives (CUT version
only).
DANGER
The hydraulic system is made by flexible pipes
and accumulators which can remain under
pressure also once the machine is stopped.
Only specialized personnel adequately trained
can make interventions on the hydraulic
system. The intervention on the calibration of
system valves can cause big damages to the
machine and severe danger to the operator. It
is forbidden to operate on the valves
calibration also for the specialized personnel.
5.2.6. Electric System
The round baler is equipped with two distinct
electrical systems, one for the management of the
rear lights and one for the control unit and the
terminal.
The connection to the electrical system of the
baler is via:

The power socket 3-way (12V, 30A) which
supplies the control unit and the terminal (fig.
17, A)

The power socket 7-way supplying the lights
installation (fig. 17;B)

Connection between the round baler and the
terminal is made by a connector (fig. 17,C).
If the tractor
doesn’t have the electrical socket
DIN 9680 3-way,
it’s possible to ask the cable for
the connection to the tractor battery (optional).
CAUTION
Before plugging the 3-pin power plug, make
sure that the tractor delivers a voltage of 12 V
and that the power of the tractor supports a
current of at least 30 A.

Near to the control unit there are a fuse 2A and a
fuse 30A. If the system does not turn on, check
the fuse 2A. If the system turns on but the
solenoid valves or the motors will not activate,
check the fuse 30A .
