6.7 PROBLEMS
– CAUSES – REMEDIES
WARNING
Before approaching the machine, make sure that the PTO is disengaged, the tractor is switched off
with the parking brake on and the ignition key is disconnected from the dashboard.
PROBLEM CAUSE REMEDY
Transmission is too loud Insufficient lubrication Check the oil level of the chains
lubrication
Loose chain tensioners Check the chain tension, adjust
the chain tensioner
The rear door doesn’t close
correctly
Problem with hydraulic system Check the hydraulic connections
between tractor and round baler
Check the blocking valve of the
rear door
Residuals of material do not allow
the closing Fully open the door, block it using
the tap and remove the material
PTO on but the pick-up
doesn’t
work
Clogging of the collection unit Operate the drop bottom floor
Raise or completely remove the
baffle plate
Remove residual material on the
rotor (WARNING! before stop the
PTO and remove the keys from
the tractor)
Bale is too light Wrong setting of the pressure Adjust the pressure of pressing
Ensure that the front manometer
reaches the red zone during
pressing operation.
RPM are too low Bring the speed of the PTO at 540
rpm / min
Collection at too high speed Reduce the speed of
advancement
Swath too big Change the size of the swath
The bale cannot be discharged Too high pressure Reduce the baling pressure
Material collected too much on
the side Correct the driving direction of the
tractor (section 4.5)
Material that tends to stick on the
chamber. Install the compression plates
(Optional)
Bad shaped bale Irregular feeding Correct the progress with the
tractor (section 4.5)
Irregular collection Pick-up too high Change the height of the pick-up

Collection at a too high speed Stop and go back with PTO
engaged, raise and lower the
pick-up. Restart driving at a
