DANGER
Do not use rotating towing link on tractors
with
rotating towing hook. Danger of
connection breaking

Be sure to use a tractor having a power
suitable to be used with the round baler (see
1.7
– Technical data).

Make sure there are no objects placed or
persons and/or animals near the working area
and that the PTO is disconnected.

Make sure that the baler is in a steady
horizontal position, and that the hitch of the
tractor is placed at the same height of the
drawbar.

If necessary, adjust the height of the drawbar
(as indicated in par.: 5.2.1).

Start the tractor and then drive carefully
backward approaching the round baler and
putting in place the hitch with the drawbar eye.
After successful hooking, insert the pin of the
eye and fix it.

Operate the parking brake, turn off the tractor
and remove the key from the control panel.

Put the PTO shaft complete with its full
protection in the PTO of the tractor and make
sure it is perfectly blocked in the correct
position.
CAUTION
The PTO shaft must be connected only
when the draw bar is hooked to the
tractor,
to prevent detachments or
damages to the PTO shaft itself.

Lift the standing foot through the crank in Fig.
15. After it is lifted from the ground, place the
standing foot in a high position and fix it using
the special pin (Fig. 15, A).

Connect the electric cables and the hydraulic
hoses.

Connect, if there, the braking system to the
tractor.

To unhook the machine from the tractor follow
these instructions:

Operate the parking brake, turn off the tractor
and remove the key from the control panel.

Operate the parking brake or put the brake
blocks.

Place the standing foot in low position and fix
it using the special pin.

Lower the standing foot using the crank till the
eye of the draw bar is released from the
tractor’s hitch.

Remove the PTO shaft and place it on the
support of the draw bar

Disconnect the electric plugs and the
hydraulic connections.

Disconnect the braking system, if there.

Take away the pin from the eye of the draw
bar and unhook the round baler from the
tractor.

Drive the tractor forward.
