6.1 MAINTENANCE
Below is a description of the different routine
maintenance.
You should remember that the lowest cost of
operation and long life of the machine depends on
the observance of these rules.
If maintenance operations are carried out with
care, the advantage will be only of the user as to
the resumption of the work will find a machine in
optimal conditions.
The intervention times reported in this manual are
just indicative and are related to normal working
conditions, which, however, can vary by kind of
use, more or less dusty environment, seasonal
factors, etc..
In harsh operating conditions, maintenance
should be carried out more often.
WARNING
Before proceeding with any operation, make
sure the machine is leveled and that it is
blocked with suitable chocks under the wheels
or that the parking brake is engaged.
Maintenance, adjustment and preparation for the
work must be performed with the tractor
stationary, parking brake engaged, engine off and
the ignition key removed.
CAUTION
The lubrication points on the machine are
marked with the sticker "greaser" (par. 2.3).
Before injecting grease through greasers, you
must carefully clean the grease connectors to
prevent mud, dust or foreign bodies from
mixing with the lubricant, decreasing, or even
annulling, the effect of lubrication. Avoid
introducing too much grease in the greasers.
The introduction in the greasing point of a
large amount of grease with high pressure,
can damage the bearing shields. Do this with
caution.
Wipe with a coat of antirust the abraded areas.
WARNING
Keep lubricants, oils, solvents and paints out
of reach of children. Carefully read the
instructions
and safety warnings on
containers of liquids used.
After use, wash carefully and thoroughly.
Treat waste oils in accordance with the
requirements of anti-pollution.

6.2 PTO SHAFT
As regards the maintenance of the PTO shaft, you
must follow the instructions provided by the
Manufacturer itself, in the instruction manual
supplied with each PTO.
6.3 ROUTINE MAINTENANCE
Repeat with frequency these checks which,
however, must be done at the beginning of each
season.
The following charts, indicates the lubrication
point of the machine, with the quantity of
lubrication needs and the waiting time of each
lubrication.
The amount of fat is expressed in cm3, for most of
the pneumatic greasers equals approximately 1
cm3.
The greasing points are grouped in certain areas
of the machine.
Alternatively, you can choose the option of the
central greasing system which reduces the
number of grease points and shares the amount
of grease depending on the bearing size.
