extraction condition of the blades, i.e. with
open drawer and raised knives
CAUTION
DON’T ACTIVATE THE P.T.O. SHAFT WHEN
THE KINVES ARE IN THIS POSITION.
WARNING
Always wear safety gloves before working on
knives

Loosen the engagement lever knives acting
before on the stop plate (Fig. 21).

Remove or insert the knives by keeping the
top end and lifting the front side and then the
rear one

Bring the engagement lever back to the
original position.

Bring back the knives and the bottom floor in
the original position using the same controls
of the terminal and operating the hydraulic
distributors.

Open the valve of the rear door and close it
through the control valve, first check that
there are not things or people around.

The knives removed from the bottom floor can be
placed in the holder on the machine (optional) (fig.
22, A). Instead of the knives, the machine can be
equipped with fake knives (Fig. 22, B).
False knives do not cut the material, but are used
only to close the slots of the drop bottom to
prevent remains of stuck material. To use the fake
knives simply remove all cutting knives, install the
same way the fake knives and place the machine
in cutting mode.

5.4.7 Net binder
DANGER
In the net binder, there is one cutting blade,
always wear safety gloves and be careful while
working on the net binder.
The net binder can contain net coils having the
following dimensions:

Outer diameter from 90 to 300 mm

Width from 1230 to 1330
To set up the machine to net binding, you must:
1) Release the net brake, bringing it to the
open position.
2) Move the net roll in the compartment if the
roll is too wide or too narrow, adjust the
side walls of the compartment (fig. 23, A).
Pay attention to the unrolling of the net,
make sure it is as in the figure 24.
3) Release the net dragging roller, acting on
the lever in the figure 23, point 3.
4) Pass the net following the scheme in
Figure 24, insert the edge of the net for
