To adjust the height of the wheels of the pick-up it
is necessary to raise it up by the hydraulic
distributor.
The adjustment can be made by changing the
position of the regulating rod: at each hole of the
bracket corresponds to a different height of the
collector (Fig. 19).
CAUTION
In case of adjustment by wheels, make sure to
perform the same adjustment for both right
and left wheel.

5.4.2 Baffle plate adjustment
The baffle plate device is intended to compress
and guide the material at the entrance of the rotor.
The position of the baffle plate must be adjusted
depending on the height of the swath.
For an optimal collection the baffle plate must be
able to compress the material making the height
of the swath even without pushing the material
forward but conveying it towards the rotor.
During the collection, the baffle plate may still
move when in contact with highest points of the
swath.
Follow the hereunder rules:

The baffle plate has to be lowered in case the
front roller is not set in rotation by the
incoming material or when the baffle plate is
placed constantly in the lowest position.

The baffle plate must be lifted if the material is
not conveyed between the baffle plate and the
pick-up and the baffle plate is pushed forward
or when the baffle plate is constantly pushed
by the material higher than what set.

When the baffle plate reaches frequently the
maximum height it is necessary to reduce
the size of the swath or the speed of
collection.
The position of the baffle plate is adjusted by
hooking the chain on its top to the fixing bracket
on the frame of the machine (fig. 20, A).

5.4.3 Securing the rear door
If you need to approach the machine while the
rear door is open, you must follow the instructions
below:
1) Make sure that there is no material inside
the chamber, otherwise wait until the bale
or the material has been unloaded before
approaching the round baler.
2) Before approaching the baler remove the
PTO, engage the parking brake, turn off the
tractor and remove the key from the control
panel.
3) Switch off the terminal.
4) Before approaching the rear door, close the
ball valve located near the fast couplings of
the hydraulic circuit of the door - tensioner
(blue caps).
The door is equipped with two safety devices:

Overcenter valves: they block the cylinders
which control the rear door in case of
breakage of pipes or involuntary leakage of
oil. They are set on the cylinders of the rear
door.

Tap of the door: it disables the control of the
rear door. When open, the rear door remains
locked even if it is commanded the closing.
