6.3.1 After the first 10 working hours
After the first 10 working hours check:

The state of the machine.

The tightening of all fasteners (par. 2.1.3).

The tension of the drive chains.

The absence of oil leaks from the hydraulic
system.

The tire pressure (par. 3.4.1).

The lubrication of transmission components.

The state of protections.

The oil level in the gearbox via the oil level
plug.

The presence of air in the hydraulic brake
system (optional), eventually draining the
system by acting on the drains on the back
of the brake cylinders (par. 8.3.1).
6.3.2 Every 8 working hours:
Every 8 working hours:

Perform a thorough cleaning of the machine.

Lubricate the components specified in the
lubrication chart.

Check the level of oil in the automatic chain
lubrication.

Restore the correct chain tension

Check the integrity of the electrical system.

Make sure there are no leaks in the hydraulic
system and the proper functioning of the
drives.

Remove any material wrapped around the
rollers and any residual twine or net caught in
the machine.
6.3.3 Every 24 working hours
Every 24 working hours:

Check the state of the machine.

Lubricate the components specified in the
lubrication chart.

Check the tire pressure (Section 3.4.1).

Check the condition of the fingers of the pick-
up and replace if necessary.
6.3.4 Every 50 working hours
Every 50 working hours:

Remove the blades and proceed with the
sharpening (cut version only).

Check the oil level in the gearbox the oil level
plug and possibly fill from the fill plug (fig. 43).

Drain condensation from the pneumatic
braking system (optional).

Lubricate the drive shaft following the
quantities and procedures indicated on the
PTO shaft operating manual.
6.3.5 Every 400 working hours
Every 400 working hours:

Check for signs of dents or wearing and
replace any worn part.

Check the state of the tensioner.

Check the condition of the net cutting blade
and replace if necessary.

Check the condition of the brake drums (if
any).
6.3.6 Every 1000 working hours
Every 1000 working hours:

Check the condition of the brake lining of net
binder and replace if necessary.

Check the condition of the belts rubber roller
and of the rubber roller of the net driving
system.

Change the oil in the gearbox (drain plugs and
filling).

Check the condition of the bearing.
6.4 EXTRAORDINARY
MAINTENANCE
The extraordinary maintenance operations must
be carried out by expert staff well trained. The
