18) Check the state of the pick-up, of the draw
bar and of the collection devices. In case
of damages, do not start working before
the repairs have been carried out.
5.6.1 Settings
After verification of the suitability and have
performed the adjustment of the baler as
indicated in the previous paragraphs, it can be set
on the terminal the work’s parameters.
On the operation screen, select the parameter to
modify using the navigation keys. Press Enter to
change the parameters.
To use the drawer or the knives, press the F1 key
and then Enter to confirm.
The values set in the working screen are shown in
the following table, which refers to the figure 32 to
indicate the position of the values on the screen.

Pressure can be set to three levels: minimum,
medium, maximum.
The binding operation can be set both manually or
automatically:

Manual: The machine beeps when the bale
reaches the set pressure, the operator must
press Enter to launch the binding operation.

Automatic: The machine beeps when the
bale reaches the set pressure and the
machine will starts binding after a while.
5.6.2 Harvesting operation
After adjusting the machine for work and checking
safety and maintenance, check that the round
baler is prepared to harvest "state 1"
– it shall
appear the following icons in the areas "B" and
"D" in Figure 32.
If the round baler is in another condition the stop
sign will be in "D" meanwhile the light bars on the
control unit will flashing on red, it needs to make
the necessary steps bring it into the "condition 1":
the icons like pict. 32 must appear on it.
Alarm with green roundbaler: It means that the
binder selected is not ready to tie: arming the
knotter knife net (par.5.4.7) or control the position
of the string and of the trolleys of the twine tying.
Also make sure that the dowel is not opened and
both (dowel and knives) not actives.
Status 0: Roundbaler’s icon with red with rear
door opened: close the rear door.
Status 4: Roundbaler’s icon Fuchsia, pressing
chamber with maximum pressure, start binding.
Status 5: Roundbaler’s icon with binding in
progress and lighting bars in blue color: wait the
end of the binding with the P.T.O. activated.
Status 6: Roundbaler
’s icon red with a green
arrow, chamber full with tied bale, open the rear
door and discharge the bale.
When the control unit return to state 1 (roundbaler
green) you can start collecting material.
Make sure there are no other people or foreign
organs in the work area, then engage the PTO
and bring it to 540 rev / min.
