6.6 STORAGE
At the end of the season, or if you plan a long
period of rest of the machine, you must:

Make sure the product inside the machine has
been completely unloaded.

Place the machine on a suitable and flat
surface.

Place suitable blocks under the wheels of the
machine and make sure that all guards on the
machine are in the correct position.

Wash the machine from any dirt.

Make a thorough inspection and replace any
worn or damaged parts.

Tighten the bolts.

Make an accurate lubrication of each point
including chains.

Go with a coat of rust inhibitors on spoiled and
abraded areas.

Keep the machine in a dry and sheltered
place.
If these operations are carried out with care, the
advantage will be only the user as to the
resumption of the work will find an equipment in
optimal conditions.
In case of dismantling the machine, follow the
anti-pollution laws and, in particular, the disposing
of exhaust lubricants and the various elements,
according to their differentiated structure (section
2.6).
