Re-install
To re-install the embedded PC’s SSD, follow these steps:
1)
Insert the SSD into its slot at a slight incline. The end opposite the connector should be slightly
higher than the end that goes into the connector, as shown in

Use the No. 1 Phillips screwdriver to insert and tighten the two screws that secure the SSD.
3)
Re-install the embedded PC by reversing the steps you followed to pull it out partway. Use section
5.28 How to Remove / Re-install the Embedded PC
4)
Perform any additional service that requires the device to be powered off and open.
5)
Depending on the situation, it may be necessary to perform additional software or hardware
configuration steps as directed by your reseller, MagTek Support Services, or MagTek Engineering,
BEFORE powering up the device. If you do not already have instructions:
a)
Locate the serial number on the rear of the device.
b)
Contact MagTek Support Services for assistance configuring the software on the new SSD.
6)
Close the top access door.
7)
Re-attach the power cable, network cable, and any security hardware.
8)
On the touchscreen, navigate to
Menu
>
Samples
, create a sample card, and make sure the device
functions properly and the sample looks correct.
