5 - Removal and Re-installation

5.14.3

Re-install

To re-install the image printer module, follow these steps:

1)

Make sure you have the administrator password for the device you are servicing. If you do not have
it, contact MagTek Support Services.

2)

Clear all cables out of the way to make room on the top deck plate for the replacement image printer.

3)

Make sure the hopper transport shuttle and XY transport carriage are both parked at the front of the
device.

4)

Find and note the keyed mounting holes on the bottom of the replacement image printer.

5)

Carefully lower the replacement image printer into the device. Place the right end in first to make
sure the plate slides under any cables that may be in the way. Leave the image printer loose /
unfastened so you can easily move it to access cables and connectors in the following steps.
