2.9.2 How to Use the Sensor Utility Page
To check the real-time status of all ExpressCard sensors, use the touchscreen to navigate to
Menu
>
Settings > Sensors to open the Sensor Utility page. In normal operation with the top access door
closed, with all card stock hoppers inserted, and with the device just powered on and ready to process
cards, the
Sensor Utility
page should match Figure 2-4 for devices with older firmware, or Figure 2-6
for devices with newer firmware and the foil / indent ribbon sensors included.
