Remove

To remove the embedded PC’s SSD, follow these steps:
1)

Prepare the device for replacing parts by following the steps in section

5.1 How to Prepare the

Device for Removing / Re-installing Modules

. At the end, the device should be powered down with

all external cables safely disconnected and the hopper shuttle parked near the front of the device.

2)

Perform the first few steps in section

5.28 How to Remove / Re-install the Embedded PC

just to the

point where the SSD is accessible (see

Figure 5-134

Use the No. 1 Phillips screwdriver to remove the two screws securing the SSD. Upon removing the
second screw, the edge of the SSD should pop up on its own. See

Figure 5-135

Remove the SSD from the embedded PC and set it aside.
