4.2.3.1 Connecting a Monitoring Cable to a VCN500

Prerequisites

A network cable used for monitoring is prepared.

Context

The VCN500 has two types of power modules. This section describes the VCN500 ports
using one type of the power module as an example. If the other type of power module is used
onsite, the actual scenario prevails.

Procedure

Step 1

Connect one end of the network cable to the GE1 port on the VCN500.
