Figure 4.3.10a Batch confi guration menu

As depicted in fi gure 4.3.10a, the following confi guration entries can be made:

SCOPE

Allows the user to defi ne all confi gured channels (instrument) or just those in a particular group, for batch
control. If ‘Group’ is selected, a further picklist appears allowing a specifi c group to be selected.

SHOW BATCH ENTRY LIST

Enabling this fi eld produces a list of 13 entries which can be used as fi eld entries when starting or storing
a batch (as described in ‘Operator initiation’, below). The fi rst entry is the MAC address of the recorder
and is not editable. The remaining 12 entries (of up to 60 characters each) are freely editable. This is a
different list from that entered (for

Operator notes

) in Instrument confi guration (

section 4.3.1

).

ENABLE

Allows the batch function to be switched on or off.

BATCH MODE

Allows batch mode to be selected as Continuous or Start/Stop.
