Specifi ed Descriptor, Specifi ed Value, Specifi ed Alarm data: Produces a further fi eld
‘{n} source’, described below.
Batch Status: Causes the status (‘Active’ or ‘Inactive’) of the current batch to be em-
bedded. See
Section 4.3.10
for details of the Batch option.
Batch Field data: Allows a selected batch fi eld to be included in the message. If
a batch is not running at the time the message is triggered, the Batch fi eld data is
replaced by ‘?????’. See

Note: Group number must be entered if the batch is confi gured for Group mode.
Instrument Name: Allows the Instrument Name (as entered in Confi guration/Instru-

This fi eld appears only if the previous fi eld (Replace {n} with) is selected as ‘Specifi ed
Descriptor’, ‘Specifi ed Value’ or ‘Specifi ed alarm data’. The associated picklist(s) allow
a specifi c point, and a specifi c alarm (if appropriate) to be selected. It is thus possi-
ble to confi gure, say alarm 1 on channel 2, to produce a message giving the descrip-
tor and/or value of, say, totaliser 1.
