Sostituzione corona
Smontaggio corona
Sfilare la flangia porta corona (2)
completa del cerchio ruota.
Tenere bloccati i perni (1) in
corrispondenza dei gommini
parastrappi e svitare i dadi (6) di
fissaggio della corona alla flangia.
Importante
Le filettature dei perni (1) sono
sinistre.
Sfilare la corona (5).
Rimontaggio corona
Assicurarsi che tutti i perni (1) risultino
bloccati sulla flangia (2). Se così non
fosse è necessario svitare i perni
che
hanno filettatura sinistra e, dopo
aver pulito le filettature, applicare
frenafiletti sulla filettatura di diametro
maggiore.
Serrarli sulla flangia alla coppia
prescritta (Sez. C 3).
Applicare frenafiletti sulla filettatura
di estremità dei perni (1).
Inserire la corona nuova (5) e, facendo
reazione sui perni, serrare i dadi (6)
di fissaggio alla coppia prescritta
(Sez. C 3).
Attenzione
Eseguire attentamente la
procedura illustrata. Se anche solo un
perno non è avvitato completamente
sulla flangia, prima del serraggio
finale dei dadi sulla corona, si otterrà
un montaggio errato con gravi
conseguenze per il motociclo e a
chi lo conduce.
Ingrassare i perni (1) ed inserire la
flangia portacorona (2) nel mozzo
della ruota posteriore, inserendo i
perni nei corrispondenti gommini (C)
parastrappi della ruota posteriore.
Installare il distanziale (8), con la parte
conica rivolta verso la flangia,
portacorona.

Tendere la catena D 4
Renewal of the rear
sprocket
Remove the rear sprocket
Slide the complete rear sprocket
flange (2) off the rear wheel.
Hold the pins (1) at the cush drive
bushes steady and undo the nuts (6)
securing the sprocket to the flange.
Important
The pins (1) have left-hand
threads.
Remove the rear sprocket (5).
Refitting the rear sprocket
Check that all the pins (1) are screwed
down tight into the flange (2). If not,
unscrew the pins
(left-hand thread)
clean the threads and apply
threadlocker to the larger diameter
thread.
Tighten them onto the flange to the
specified torque (Sect. C 3).
Apply threadlocker to the threads on
the ends of pins (1).
Fit the new rear sprocket (5), hold the
pins and tighten the nuts (6) to the
specified torque (Sect. C 3).
Warning
Perform the above procedure
with the utmost care. If even a single
pin is not screwed fully into the flange
before the nuts are tightened on the
sprocket, the sprocket will be installed
incorrectly, thus endangering the
safety of the rider and the motorcycle.
Grease the pins (1) and fit the rear
sprocket flange (2) to the rear wheel
hub. Make sure the pins locate in the
rubber cush drive bushes (C).
Install the spacer (8) with the tapered
end facing the rear sprocket flange.
