Force value possibility: Yes
CoolDnAfterBOC
[STOP / INFIN COOLING]
(FV)
STOP = opens breaker, starts cooling, after set time stops engine
INFIN COOLING = opens breaker, starts cooling; engine stays in that state for infinite time; after
acknowledging all the BOC protections (and all the others which can block engine running) it is possible to
switch back from cooling; in AUT mode automatically, in MAN mode after pushing Start button
Force value possibility: Yes
Cooldown optim
[ DISABLED / ENABLED ]
DISABLED
Gen-set cooling period is given strictly by the setpoint
Cooling time
.
ENABLED
Gen-set cooling period depends on the load that was present in the moment of Stop
command. I.e. the higher the produced power has been, the longer cooling period will be. It
is a linear equation:
–
Act power = 100% of the
Nomin power
=> cooling period =
Cooling time
–
Act power = 50% of the
Nomin power
=> cooling period =
Cooling time
/ 2
–
...
AfterCool time
[ s ] (FV)
Runtime of the cooling pump after engine stop. Binary output COOLING PUMP is closed when the engine
starts and opens
AfterCoolTime
delayed after gen-set stops.
Step:
1s
Range:
0 – 3600 s
Force value possibility: Yes
Hint:
For After cooling function configure the binary output COOLING PUMP.
Stop time
[ s ] (FV)
Stop time
value means the minimum time for which Stop solenoid will be closed. If the engine stopping
procedure will take longer time, the Stop solenoid stays closed until all signs of moving engine have
disappeared (RPM, Vg, fg, Oil press, RunIndicationX) + 10 seconds more to have some safety overlap. After
Stop time
has elapsed and the engine is still moving, the alarm "Sd Stop fail" is produced. Conditions for
stopped engine: RPM=0, Ug < 10 V, fg = 0 Hz, Oil press < Ain Sd level, all RunIndicationX inputs
deactivated. However, this is not a normal situation and should be solved by increasing the
Stop time
setpoint.
Step:
1s
Range:
0 – 240 s
Force value possibility: Yes
SDVentil time
[ s ]
If
Fuel solenoid
setpoint is set to GAS ENGINE, this setpoint adjusts the time of starter motor to be switched
on for engine preventilation in case of a first start attempt after a shutdown or controller switch-on.
Step:
1s
Range:
0 – 60 s
Fuel solenoid
[ DIESEL ENGINE / GAS ENGINE ]
Selection of Fuel solenoid output function:
DIESEL ENGINE:
In this mode of operation the output closes to energize the fuel solenoid and enable
the engine to start. The delay or advance of activation in relation to Starter output is
defined by
FuelSol offset
.
GAS ENGINE:
In this mode of operation the output closes to open the gas valve and enable the
engine to start. The output closes only if RPM > 30 (i.e. the starter motor is engaged)
with
FuelSol offset
.
The output opens if there is any reason to stop the engine or in pause between repeated starts.
Hint:
In the case of gas engine, the underspeed protection cannot be blocked by the Sprinkler function.
For gas engines, it is strongly recommended to use the pick-up sensor, as non-zero RPM detection is
required during the start procedure.
