Configuring ISDN System Telephones Remotely via the External S

Port on the PBX (Externally)
7. Enter the remote switching number for system telephones (including local city code
and exchange line access number), and click
OK
.
The
Connection routes
dialogue appears with the devices connected via the
configured interface.
8. If necessary, double-click the PBX symbol to display all the connected system
telephones. Select the telephone whose configuration you want to open and click
OK
.
The
PIN entry
dialogue appears.
9. Select the desired authorisation from the
Authorisation level
list field.
10. Enter the associated PIN in the
PIN
entry field and click
OK
.
The configuration is loaded from the telephone. This may take a while.
11. Make the desired changes.
Once you have configured all the changes to your satisfaction, first save the configu-
ration as described in the following as a file on the hard drive and then in the tele-
phone.
12. Open the menu
File > Save
.
13. Click
File
.
14. Select the directory in which you want to save the configuration file.
15. Enter a name for the *.cf2 file and click
Save
(this text is dependent on the operating
system used).
16. Open the menu
File > Save
.
17. Click
Telephone
.
The
Connection routes
dialogue appears with the devices connected via the
configured interface.
18. Select the telephone on which you want to save the configuration and click
OK
.
The
PIN entry
dialogue appears.
19. Enter the associated PIN in the
PIN
entry field and click
OK
.
The configuration is saved on the telephone. This may take a while.
