Administration > Dealer/operator data
.
2. Click
Change
.
3. If necessary, change the user name for the Administrator in the
Admin user name
entry field. Possible entries:
Note:
Only the first six characters of the user name are used to log in to a
COMfortel VoIP 2500 AB system telephone.
4. If necessary, select the
Change Admin PIN
check box and change the Admin PIN in
the
Admin PIN
and
Repeat Admin PIN
entry fields. Possible entries:
Note:
All PINs in the PBX are unique. For this reason, you cannot assign the same
PIN twice.
Avoid using birthdays or specific dates as PINs. If you do, you will make it
easier for an attacker to find the right one. You should also avoid choosing
PINs that are easy to guess, such as 111111 or 123456.
The PIN is necessary e.g. for access to COMfortel Set and a COMfortel VoIP
2500 AB system telephone.
5. If necessary, select the
Change Admin password
check box and change the Admin
password in the
Admin password
and
Repeat Admin password
entry fields.
Possible entries:
Note:
A coloured bar under the entry field shows the security level of the password
(red = low level, green = high level).
