VoIP Provider Settings
Type of number presentation
Range in which the VoIP provider expects to receive the phone number transferred from the
PBX.
in the display text
: Your own external phone number, that is to be transferred, (Network
Provided Number) is sent to the VoIP provider in the Display text area of the From header.
in the user name
: Your own external phone number, that is to be transferred, (Network
Provided Number) is sent to the VoIP provider in the User area of the From header. The Display
text area is used to transfer the name.
In accordance with RFC 3325 with P-Asserted-Identity
: Your own external phone number,
that is to be transferred, (Network Provided Number) is sent to the VoIP provider in the User
area of the P-Asserted-Identity header.
In accordance with RFC 3325 with P-Preferred-Identity
: Your own external phone number,
that is to be transferred, (Network Provided Number) is sent to the VoIP provider in the User
area of the P-Preferred-Identity header.

User-defined
: You can define your own number presentation for the three SIP
Headers (From, P-Asserted-Identity and P-Preferred-Identity). Here, the first list field corre-
sponds to the display text area and the second corresponds to the user area of the header. You
can also choose which header is to be used.
Method of number presentation suppression
Requirements:

the VoIP provider supports the number presentation suppression service attribute
•
number presentation suppression is enabled for the subscriber
Area of the From header in which the VoIP provider expects to receive the number presentation
suppression.
no display text
: If number presentation suppression is switched on, an empty display text is
sent in the From header.
Anonymous
: The sent display text in the From header is "anonymous" if number presentation
suppression is switched on.
User Anonymous
: If number presentation suppression is switched on, both the display text
and the User name section in the From header contain "anonymous".
Note:
Number presentation suppression in accordance with RFC 3325, by
using a privacy header, is also used automatically.
