Switching Cascading of Call Forwarding for Groups On/Off
If call forwarding has been configured for the internal destination of an existing call forwarding,
it is possible to reroute already forwarded calls (cascading).
If CF cascading is enabled, calls which have already been forwarded by a call forwarding, will
be rerouted to the new CF destination. The caller hears the dial tone until the call is accepted
(conversation). If the call cannot be switched, a busy signal is issued. Possible reasons:
•
The CF destination is busy.
•
The maximum call duration has been reached (after approx. 2 minutes).
During CF cascading, the PBX memorises the subscribers who have already been called for
this call. If the call is to be redirected by means of call forwarding to a destination number, which
has already been called during the cascading, there will be no further call forwarding. The call
will be treated as if there was no call forwarding available, e.g.:
•
If the subscriber called last is busy, a busy signal will be sent.
•
The call will be signaled to the last subscriber until the maximum call duration is reached
for the call.
Proceed as follows:
•
Separately for groups
•
Separately for configurations
•
Using the configuration manager
Note:
As described in the following, the setting is also possible via profiles (
...
> Profiles > Configuration > Configure > ...
). If the check box
Profile-
controlled settings
has been selected, the property set in the right-hand
column will apply. For assignment of the profile, see chapter Settings >
Profiles.
