Monitoring VoIP Status
Note:
The status display only mirrors the logical status! This means that, for
example, an INVITE request to the provider that is replied to with "404 Not
Found" (phone number unknown) is considered successful.
Unclear, e.g. because:
•
no attempt has yet been made to make a call over this VoIP account.
•
the STUN request failed or the system has been rebooted. The area must be rechecked to
display the current status. A grey dot (undetermined status) is displayed until a response is
received.
Error, e.g. because:
•
the outbound proxy is offline.
•
The outbound proxy has been set incorrectly for the VoIP provider in
Public switched tel.

The domain has been set incorrectly for the VoIP provider in
Public switched tel.

The account data has been entered incorrectly, e.g. due to a misspelling, or the data has
been assigned to the wrong provider. Here you need to check the User name, the Password
and the Authorisation ID (if specified), in particular (
Public switched tel. networks > Voice
over IP (VoIP) > Accounts > Configuration
).
•
Although the outbound proxy is on the network ("ping" is successful), it cannot currently
carry out its task (e.g. maintenance tasks).
•
The account is blocked.
