4.
Insert the new tube into the cover by following the
steps below:
a.
Insert the tube clips into the recesses of the cover
with the open end of the tube clips pointing out so
that the tube sits symmetrically in the cover.
b.
Push the tube into the recess with the tube
touching the upper portion of the cover.
5.
Align the pump cover with the pins on the lever and
gently push cover into position.
6.
Screw the each end of the peristaltic pump tube into
the fitting.
7.
When both peristaltic pump tube linings have been
replaced, press
Next
.
8.6 As Needed
Priming the Pipettor
The instrument cleans the fluid lines automatically during
the test sequence. However, it is recommended to run a
cleaning cycle:
•
If the instrument has sat idle for a week or more
•
If poor precision is observed
•
In the unlikely event that the instrument System Fluid
runs dry
Use the Cleaning function on the Diagnostics menu to
prime the pipettor and clean the instrument fluidics.
1.
Press
> Diagnostics > Cleaning
to open the
Prime
Pipettor
tab.
2.
Press
Prime
.
The pipettor dispenses cleaning fluid into the cleaning
well for approximately 90 seconds.
The system prompts you with a
Priming completed
message when finished.
The system indicates when the cleaning is complete.
3.
Press
Exit
to return to the Diagnostics menu.
