Running a STAT Test
The OsmoPRO MAX provides a STAT test feature when a
quick turnaround is needed on a single sample.
To perform a STAT test while an automated test is in
progress, complete the following steps.
1.
Press
on the Home screen.
2.
On the turntable display, either press on an empty
tube position or on a tube position that has already
been tested.
3.
Place the STAT sample tube in the selected position
on the turntable.
NOTE:
If you stop loading tubes for more than two
minutes, the instrument prompts you to
continue loading. If you do not respond within
30 seconds, the instrument cancels all loading
and marks the loaded tube positions as
empty.
The system completes the test in progress.
4.
Press

Testing begins on the STAT sample.
5.
Once the STAT test is complete, the result is displayed
with the automated test results.
STAT test passed
STAT test failed
The automated test sequence resumes where it left off
once the STAT test is complete.
5.6 Completing the Test
The instrument continues to test each sample loaded
before and during the test, and displays the result
after each sample test completes.
Statistics are also printed for replicate measurements.
When all samples have been tested the selected
number of times, all results are displayed and saved to
the system. If a printer is connected, it prints the same
information.
All tests passed (including STAT in position 12)
