8.4 Daily/End-of-Shift Maintenance
Fluid Lines and System Fluid/Waste Fluid Containers
Visually inspect the System Fluid in these containers to
make sure there is sufficient System Fluid for testing and
available space in the waste bottle.
Inspect the System Fluid tubing to make sure that they
are not pinched or damaged.
If the system fluid needs replacing, see Replace the
Maintenance Kit and Clean the Fluid Path .
8.5 Every 500 Tests
Replace the Maintenance Kit and Clean the Fluid Path
Refer to the instructions to Load the Maintenance Kit .
Replacing the Peristaltic Pump Tube Linings
Required materials: OsmoPRO MAX Peristaltic Tube
Linings (included with the OsmoPRO MAX Maintenance
Kit )
The OsmoPRO MAX Peristaltic Tube Linings consist of
two lengths of tube complete with tube clips and barb
connectors.
Complete the following steps to replace the peristaltic
pump tubing for each peristaltic pump:
1.
Press to view the onscreen instructions.
1. Unscrew both tubing ends from the connectors.
2. Gently lift the lever [A] to the upper position and
remove the cover.

3. Remove the tube lining from the cover by following
the steps below:
a. Remove the tube clips from the recesses of the
cover and then remove the tubing.
b. Push the tube into the recess with the tube
touching the upper portion of the cover.
