Contents of this chapter

The chapter describes about the Drive Composer PC tool and how drive 

parameters can be managed using the PC tool. 

Drive Composer overview

Drive Composer is a 32-bit PC tool used for commissioning and maintaining 

ABB common architecture drives.The PC tool can be connected to a drive that 

has the assistant control panel or a dummy panel. The full version is called Drive 

Composer pro and the free version is called Drive Composer entry. The free 

version is available for download from 

ABB website.

 

Note:

 The PC tool cannot be connected to the basic control panel.
