12. “SYSTEM” mode
12.1.4.1 Option DIO setting
The following parameter for option DIO (NPN or PNP specifications) boards is used to
enable or disable monitoring of the DC 24V supply input.

Board status
Meaning
Enables or disables monitoring of the 24V supply input. When set
to "VALID", an error message will be issued as a warning and
recorded in the error history if the DC 24V supply is shut off.
When set to "INVALID", no error message will be issued and
recorded in the error history even if the DC 24V supply is shut off.

cursor keys and press the

key to quit the edit mode.

NOTE
Setting to "VALID" is recommended
so that the 24V supply for the option
board is monitored during operation.
Set to "INVALID" only when option
boards that are not to be used are
installed.

CAUTION
The robot controller itself operates
even if DC 24V is not supplied to the
option board. However, the option
board where no DC 24V is supplied
does not perform input/output
operations correctly.
