11. “MANUAL” mode
11.2.8.6 Point comment search
Point comments already entered can be located.
[Procedure]
1) Press the
F 11
(FIND) key in “MANUAL>POINT>COMMENT” mode.
The message “Character string >” appears on the guideline.
2) Enter the character string you want to search for, and press the key.
A maximum of 15 characters can be used.

3) Search starts from the cursor position towards the end of the program and stops at
the first matching character string.

4) To continuously search for another character string, press the
F 12
(FIND+) or
F 13
(FIND-) key.
Pressing the
F 12
(FIND+) key restarts the search from the current cursor posi-
tion towards the end of the program and stops at the first matching character string.
Pressing the
F 13
(FIND-) key restarts the search from the current cursor position
towards the top of the program and stops at the first matching character string.

A point comment can be up to 15
characters.
