Activities before spreading
140
Start the tractor.
Close all the doors and windows in the cabin.
Switch the control box on.
Press on the input field for the required application rate.
Key in the new value on the popup keyboard.
The new value is on the screen of the keyboard.
Confirm it or cancel it with the OK or cancel key.
The working width and the selected driving speed, if the tractor is
equipped with a speedometer, are entered in a similar manner.
It is recommended that an application rate of at least 250 kg/ha is en-
tered with the selected driving speed.
Switch the right spreading disc off by pressing close key in the
main screen. The right dosing unit remains closed.
Switch the automatic calibration off by pressing the manual/auto
key in the main screen. A hand will begin to flash in the screen on
the right below the spreader.
Switch on the PTO shaft
The correct rpm of the spreading discs is
the value given in the relevant spreading chart less 25%, e.g. 810
rpm. - 25% = 610 rpm.
If you want, you can choose to accelerate so that you are driving at
the same speed as during full field spreading.
Start driving along the field edge. The distance between the field
edge and the middle of the tractor must be 2 metres.
Open the dosing unit a few metres before driving over the middle
of the first bowl by pressing the start key.
Drive right over the 1st trough and stop spreading only when you
have driven at least a working width (e.g. 18 or 24 metres) past the
troughs. The spreader in particular distributes approximately as far
to the rear and side.
Close the left dosing unit by pressing the stop key.
If you set an application rate of less than 250 kg/ha, drive over the
same tracks in order to collect sufficient fertiliser in the troughs for
a good comparison.
Maintain the same distance while opening and closing the dosing unit.
Keep to the same driving speed and PTO shaft rpm!
Empty the troughs with a funnel into the graduated tubes.
