Connecting hydraulic
hoses
Colour codes of the hydraulic connections
Prevent malfunctions and errors in the controls by marking the
connectors with colours and the oil direction on the machine and the
tractor (+ and - or P and T or red and blue). Incorrect connection of the
hydraulic hose could lead to the functions working the other way
around (such as lifting instead of lowering). This could lead to
dangerous situations and could damage the crops.
If the machine is equipped with Trimflow (accessory) the hydraulic
hose must be connected for operation.
Check the hydraulic quick coupling on the tractor for dirt. Clean if
necessary.
Remove the hose from the hose coupling support and check the
quick coupling for dirt. Clean if necessary.
Connect the quick coupling.
Place the hose so that it would not pinch or damage.
Regularly inspect the hydraulic system.

Checking the hydraulic
system
High pressure in the hydraulic system
Keep your distance from the hydraulics during inspecting and test
running. The hydraulic system is under high pressure. Oil jets or hoses
that snap back may cause serious physical injury and fire due to the
prevailing pressure and temperature. Liquid under high pressure can
easily penetrate skin and clothes and may cause severe injuries. In
the event of injury, contact your physician immediately!
Regularly inspect the hydraulic system.

Connecting electric
plugs
Connect electric plugs safely
Connect the electric plugs correctly. Conduct the electric plugs and
cables in such a way that they are not pinched or damaged. Use only
the intended electric connection. Never use a cigarette lighter.
Check the plugs and the connections on the tractor for dirt. Clean
if necessary.
Connect the electric plug(s) for the lights.
Connect the ISOBUS communication plug.
Connect the control box
•
by connecting an ISO plug, which has both CAN plugs on the
one side of the cable, to the back of the control box and the
CAN plug on the other side of the cable to the connection on the
ISOBUS network of the tractor,
•
Remove the CAN plug of the tractor ECU from the control box
if the tractor is equipped with a tractor ECU.
Place the cables so that they are not pinched during work activities.
