Calculate the axle load with
tractor-mounted machines
The following are important to ensure safe operation of the loaded
machine :
•
the maximum load of the machine,
•
the maximum axle load of the tractor,
•
weight distribution over the axles,
•
and the carry load per wheel.
At least 20% of the tractor's own weight must rest on the front axle and
45% on the rear axle in the loaded condition in order to maintain good
manoeuvrability.
Check that these conditions are satisfied before purchasing a
machine! Comply with maximum permissible axle loads, total weights
and transport dimensions! Using a tractor which is not proper may
cause serious or lethal injuries or damage the tractor and machine.
