Inclination
Recommendations are provided for the angle of the spreader under
the heading
Spreader Angle
under the
Field settings
header in the
spreading chart. The spreader is normally in the horizontal position. It
may be necessary to adjust the spreader's angle with large working
widths or with top dressing.
You can set the precise angle by turning the top link.
28 meter set (Optional)
There is an indicator on the spreader with the 28 meter set that
displays the angle of the spreader.

IP
Set the spreader angle before you fill the hopper. It is easier to turn the
top link if the hopper is empty.
Check the position again after the hopper has been filled!

NDICATION
In case of top dressing, it is possible that the instruction for setting the
spreader diagonally, as given in
section »spreading height« on page 151
differs from the recommendations given in the spreading chart. Follow
the instructions from chapter »spreading height« in this event.
PTO shaft rpm
The PTO shaft rpm is not given in the spreading chart as the rpm
would always be the same at 540 rpm.

The PTO shaft rpm often has to be adjusted with border spreading.
The recommended PTO shaft and the accompanying spreading disc
rpm when using the TrimFlow are given in the spreading chart book.
Follow the direction for the PTO shaft RPM for border spreading as
given in the spreading chart book and in
section »Border spreading« from page 165.
