The value of the flow rate could differ slightly from the selected flow
rate. If this is the case the control system will calculate the correct
dosing setting. A new dosing setting must be estimated and the
calibration test performed anew only if there are great differences.
Switch the PTO shaft and the tractor off and remove the keys from
the ignition.
Remove the calibration container.
Put the vanes back on.
Reconnect the drive of the right spreading disc and lock it.
With the fertiliser type and spreading chart from the example when
slug pellets are being distributed:
You will have an application rate of about 11.4 kg/ha with a working
width of 18 metres at a driving speed of 8 km/h. The required flowrate
is 2.73 kg/min with dosing setting 12+0 (= 12).
Suppose: you collected 1.35 kg of fertiliser in 1 minute at the left
spreading disc. The combined discs have a flowrate of: 2 x 1.35 = 2.7
kg/min. This (approximated) value is displayed on the 'Curve
Calibration' screen and is very similar to the required value.
