GPI Inputs for UIO-256, ADAM, and ADAM CS: C5 to +18 VDC between any GPI input and common to
activate that GPI input.

GPI Input
column display
The GPI Input column displays the number assigned to the GPI
Input. This number cannot be changed. Changing the intercom
configuration can control the number of GPI Inputs. For example,
basic system hardware has eight GPI Inputs. If no additional UIO-
256 frames are attached to the system, the GPI Inputs can be
limited to eight.
Keypanel
column display
The Keypanel column displays the keypanel number assigned to
the GPI Input (i.e., 003).
Keypanel Alpha
column display
The Keypanel Alpha column displays the name of the Keypanel
assigned to the GPI Input.
Note: To change the default name of the Keypanel Alpha,
see Port Alpha.
Key
column display
The Key column displays the keypanel key assigned to the GPI
Input. This is the key used to trigger a GPI Input action.
Key Type
column display
The Keypanel Type column indicates the type of key assigned to a
GPI Input. Talk or Listen is displayed in the column indicating the
key type.
