Description
Port
text field
The Port field displays the system generated port number currently being
viewed.
Alpha
drop-down list
The Alpha field displays the number of the Alpha currently being displayed.
Listens To…
The Is Listening To… field shows the port, the alpha and the gain level of
the port
1. From the Port field, select the port for which you want to set the
crosspoint listen gain level for the currently viewed port.
The port you select becomes highlighted.
Port
display column
The Port field displays the selected port for which the crosspoint listen gain
can be set.
Alpha
display column
The Alpha field displays the selected alpha for which the crosspoint listen
gain can be set.
Gain
display column
The Gain field displays the selected ports gain level for the currently viewed
crosspoint port.
Gain Controls
The Gain Controls area gives users the ability to set the gain level for each
port the currently viewed crosspoint port listens to. The amount of gain can
be manipulated from this area.
Gain
drop-down list
The Gain drop-down list displays the different levels of gain available for the
selected port.
From the Gain drop-down list, select the amount of gain for the selected
port.
Set Gain
button
The Set Gain button sets the gain for the selected port(s).
1. Click Set Gain.
The gain is set for the selected port.
Gain up/Gain Down
button
The Gain Up/Gain Down arrows give the user the ability to increase or
decrease the gain incrementally without modifying the Set Gain amount.
1. Click the Up arrow to increase the gain.
or
Click the Down arrow to decrease the gain.
Options
Show NON-Unity
Only
checkbox
The Show NON-Unity Only check box, when selected, will show only Non-
unity gain levels.
If the Show Non-Unity Only is selected, only those intercom ports that are
not set at the default level will display.
The default level of +0.0 dB is also called the unity gain level. Normally, the
list in the center of the screen will show the gains for all intercom ports.
Reset Gain
button
The Reset Gain button resets the gain to its default level (+0.0 dB) for ports
that are currently selected in the list in the center of the screen.
1. Click Reset Gain.
The Gain is reset for the selected port.
Select All
button
The Select All button selects all the available ports in the Port column.
1. Click Select All.
All the ports in the port column are highlighted.
De-select All
button
The De-select All button removes the highlight from the all the ports in the
port column.
1. Click De-select All.
All the ports highlighted in the port column are de-selected.
