Listen Source
To use the Listen Source feature, a pre-fade mic feed from the talent's mic, through the mix console, and is then
connected to an available input port in the matrix. The port number or alpha is entered on the Edit IFB screen in the
Listen Source Field. Remember; the port alpha for this input source must be entered first under Port Alpha settings.
Verify this port is not a duplicate alpha in the system.
When the listen source is set, go to the keypanel and assign the IFB to a keypanel key. For information on how to
assign an IFB to the keypanel see, Assign an IFB to a Keypanel.
Tone Override IFB Setup
The Tone Override IFB is not used for Standard IFB.
To use tone override IFB setup, do the following:
1. From the Options menu, select Preferences.
The Application Preferences screen appears.
2. Click the Advanced tab.
The Advanced screen appears.
3. Select the Enable IFB tone override input support check box.
4. Click Apply.
The change is applied.
5. Click OK.
The Applications screen closes.
6. Click the IFB button.
The IFB screen appears.
7. Double-click the IFB you want to set tone override IFB.
The Edit IFB screen appears.
8. In the Tone Override field, enter the port number or select the port alpha where the 2400 kHz
tone source is connected.
9. Click Done.
