8. Inspect or replace sample probe or outer needle
A faulty or broken needle can cause a fill time-out error or a dilution error.
If necessary replace the sample probe or outer needle.
9. Replace diluter syringe tip
Replace diluter tip
*Only applicable for Diluter syringe QWLV030009, Diluter syringe QWLV030021 has to be replaced after 2 years
1. Pull the plunger out of the syringe.
2. Cut the Teflon tip of the plunger with a sharp knife or cutting pliers.
Be careful not to damage the metal plunger.
3. Replace the O-ring and the tip.
4. Replace the old tip for the new tip assembly. (From repair set QWLV030901)
5. Moisten the tip with water for easy re-assembly of the tip back into the glass syringe barrel.
6. Install the syringe back on to the attachment.
7. Replace the new plunger in the diluter assembly.
Clean dilution system
1. Perform
Prime diluent
Repeat above step until there are no air bubbles in the whole diluent system anymore.
Check your dilution settings:
1. Select display dilution on
[Settings] -> [General settings] -> [Display dilution] -> ON
.
2. Run 10 samples through the instrument and make a note of the dilution rate.
3. Calculate the mean value of the 10 samples.
