Clarus 600/680 GC User’s Guide

For each function, position pair the same basic calculation is used to identify

what modules are available and what locations are available once the module

type has been selected.

To identify the types of module available, first identify the set of available

locations that contain one of the acceptable set of modules for this logical

position.

For a carrier this means scanning through all of the locations looking for ones

that the hardware test has shown to contain CARR or PRES modules and that

have not been assigned to another logical location.
