Cleaning
Note!
Thorough cleaning increases the reliability and the service life of the
unit.
Use only environmentally friendly, pH neutral and skin-friendly cleaning agents. This protects the
environment and avoids oxidations on the unit.
Warning!
Oil and grease must not be released into the environment.
Clean the device only in suitable places (oil separator).
Do not use abrasive rags, brushes, etc.
Cleaning procedure
Warning!
Wet or damp electric parts may cause short circuits in the electronic
system or other malfunctions of the unit.
x Carry out cleaning work only when the unit is turned off.
x
Secure the unit against being switched on unintentionally.
x Keep the working environment clean.
Warning!
Contaminations, especially oil or other lubricants must be cleaned off
immediately as a precaution against slipping.
Using high-pressure cleaning equipment:
Warning!
Failure to comply with the following steps may result in damage to the
unit.
x
The operating instructions of the high-pressure cleaning equipment shall be observed.
x Never exceed the water temperature / cleaning agent temperature of 60° C.
x Always ensure that there is sufficient distance between the nozzle and the unit.
x
Never point the water jet directly at:
x
Electric and electronic parts (water penetration);
x Plastic parts (deformation, breakage);
x
Bearings or bearing points (forces dirt into and lubricant out of
the bearing);
x
Signs (can become detached or unrecognizable);
