Charger overview

Power supply LED

Solid green - Unit is ready to charge the
battery.

Flashing red - Internal charger fault.

Does not light up - No power supply.

Solid green - Battery charged, trickle
charging.

Flashing green - Charging in progress.

Flashing red - Battery is faulty.

Solid orange - Battery refresh
recommended, not started.

Flashing orange - Battery refreshing.

Flashing red - Charger is being
powered from AC mains power via a
mains adapter. Refresh is not possible.

Battery compartment
Connecting the charger
Upon being connected to the power supply the charger runs a system test. The 3 LEDs on the
operating panel light up one after the other in red, green and orange.
Note!
An optional mains adapter for mains power supply (110 / 220V) is
available from your PALFINGER service partner. This makes it
possible to use the charger independently of the vehicle. The
'Refresh' function is not available when charging from mains power.

Mains power LED (1) green - Charger OK.
x
Mains power LED (1) flashing red - Charger faulty, contact PALFINGER service partner.
Charging process
x
Normal charging: LED flashes green.
x
Battery charged, trickle charging: LED solid green.
Note:
x
Temperature below 5°C: start of charging process delayed while battery gets automatically
warmed up in the charger.
x
Temperature 5° to 40°C: normal charging.
x
Temperature 40° to 50°C: slower charging.
x
Temperature above 50°: No charging.
