Operation
You may only utilize the maximum allowable lifting power of the loading crane when the carrier vehicle
is sufficiently stable.
Therefore it is required
x to extend all stabilizer outriggers completely (even with available additional stabilizers);
x that all stabilizer cylinders are completely on the ground (even with available additional stabilizers).
If this is impossible for instance because of limited space, and the vehicle is therefore only partly or not
supported at all, you may still work with those cranes equipped with the HPSC system.
In order to be able to lift as much as possible with your crane always choose the maximum possible
support version.
Please note
x Always extend all stabilizer cylinders for crane operation. If not all stabilizer cylinders have ground
contact this strongly reduces the lifting power of the crane.
x Therefore make absolutely sure that the stabilizer outriggers are extended as far as possible on
the intended working side. This increases the possible lifting power on this side.
x The system can be setup only after the vehicle superstructure. The manufacturer of vehicle
superstructure is therefore responsible for the setup.
Danger!
Improper crane operation such as:
x supporting on insufficiently stable ground;
x
swinging loads;
x jerky crane movements;
x
lowering from nearly vertical position while increasing the
range;
may cause the vehicle to tip over even if equipped with HPSC system.
This creates an acute risk of fatality for the operator and others.
