Preparing for crane operation

Danger!
In the event of any malfunctions during crane operation and unless
the work is interrupted immediately, there is an acute danger of
accident.
If any malfunctions occur, release the operating lever immediately and press the emergency cut-off
button until it locks. The remote control console may only be used once the malfunction has been
corrected by a PALFINGER service partner.
The remote control operation stops automatically if:
x There is no wireless connection (see below).
x
The battery is empty.
x
Any crane function was not operated for more than 5 minutes. A PALFINGER service partner can
individually set the period.
To be able to continue working, the remote control handset must be restarted.
No wireless connection
If it is not possible to establish a wireless connection, a message
appears in the display area. Possible causes:
x Transmitter out of reach.
x
Receiver not switched on.
x No valid (paired) receiver.
x
Defective radio components.
x Test the system in cable operation (refer to ‘Cable operation’, chapter 7).
x If the system still does not work, contact your PALFINGER service partner.
End radio-controlled operation:
x Set the key switch to OFF (see graphic ‘Start remote control console’ position 5).
x
Pull out the key.
x
Secure the remote control console against unauthorized use.
Have any defective remote control handset immediately replaced by a PALFINGER service partner.
