Soft stop
The automatic "soft stop function" stops certain crane movements before the mechanical end stop is
reached. The movement of the crane function is gently braked when this takes place.
Jerky crane movements and load impacts from the suspended load are prevented.
The following crane movements are prevented by "soft stop":

Slewing
(only possible with slewing system including
slewing cylinders)

Raise / lower

Crane outer boom
Lift (hoist)

Fly jib - outer boom
Lift (hoist)
If the electronic limit position is reached when a crane movement is made, the crane movement is first
slowed down and then blocked. The crane movements that are still possible are indicated on the
Paltronic 150 display unit.
