Moving the crane into transport position:
Unscrew operating lever for slew crane function.
Before starting to operate the crane, familiarize with the arrangement of the control symbols.
Danger!
Risk of trapping and falling down, and therefore risk of fatal injury.
Find a safe location.
Keep a safe distance away from all moving parts of the crane and the load (see ‘Danger of getting
crushed', chapter 2).
A slewing movement may make it necessary to change location to the opposite side of the crane (risk
of falling, risk of trapping). If no suitable platform is available, the operator must climb down from the
vehicle and climb onto the vehicle again at the opposite side.
Move the crane to transport position as described in chapter 9, and contact your PALFINGER partner
immediately.
