Set Watchdog Timers
1.
Access the BIOS Setup utility menus.
For instructions, see “Access the BIOS Setup Utility Menus” on page 46 .

From the BIOS Main menu screen, select Advanced.

From the Advanced Settings screen, select IPMI Configuration.
4.
From the IPMI Configuration screen, select Set SP Watchdog Configuration.
From this screen, you can enable or disable the SP BIOS and SP OS Watchdog timer action and
set the timeout durations. The watchdog timer action options include:

No Action – Logs the watchdog event
■
Reset – Halt and reboot the system
■
Power Down – Gracefully power down the system
■
Power Cycle – Gracefully power down and reboot the system
